The EU sheet rates iPhone Duo at 4,883 mAh. Apple's spec page does not.

A German product sheet for iPhone Duo model A3720 lists 4,883 mAh, class A, and 51 hours 30 minutes. Apple's spec page lists two batteries and hours of video, not milliamp-hours.

The short version

An O2 product sheet for model A3720 lists 4,883 mAh. Apple's iPhone Duo spec page lists two lithium-ion batteries and hours of video, not milliamp-hours. MacRumors reported the sheet on October 18.

The sheet that is willing to print milliamp-hours

The product information sheet hosted by O2, for Apple model A3720, is the EU label's long form. It lists energy class A, a rated battery capacity of 4,883 mAh, and 51 hours 30 minutes of endurance per cycle. It lists at least 1,000 cycles at default settings. It says the battery is not user-replaceable. Repair class is C, index 2.65 out of 5. Ingress is IP68 at 6 meters. Screen scratch resistance is Mohs 5. The charger line is 5 watts, USB-C. Minimum operating-system update availability is 5 years. Those are label fields, not a reviewer's estimate.the case and the page.

Open and shut are different drop counts

The sheet separates repeated free-fall results. Without a defect, the count is at least 140. Tested fully extended, the count without a defect is 35, and the free-fall reliability class is B. A foldable phone has two postures, and the label treats them as two tests. This page will not average 140 and 35 into one durability score. A buyer who cares about the open position has the smaller number, on the sheet, in the row that says fully extended.the mobile desk.

What the spec page is willing to print instead

Apple's iPhone Duo specifications describe dual built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. They list typical use up to 24 hours, video playback up to 44 hours on the outer display and up to 31 on the inner, and streamed playback up to 37 and 26 hours. Fast charge is listed as about 50 percent in 20 minutes on a 60 watt USB-C adapter, or about 30 minutes on a 35 watt MagSafe setup. Storage rungs are 256 gigabytes, 512, 1 terabyte, and 2 terabytes. Milliamp-hours are not on that page. Hours of video and a rated capacity in mAh answer different questions.the preorder window.

What MacRumors added on October 18

MacRumors reported that Apple published an EU energy label showing 4,883 mAh total. It said the document appears to confirm a leak of two cells, 2,962 mAh and 1,921 mAh, which add to 4,883. It argued that an eSIM-only design means the figure should apply worldwide, because there is no physical SIM tray to steal volume from the pack. The addition this page will keep is the total, because the sheet prints it. The cell split stays MacRumors's account of a leak unless a sheet row names both cells.Futureweb.

A retailer PDF is still the label

The sheet this brief uses is a copy on a German carrier's site, not a page on apple.com. The fields match the EU product-information format, including the supplier in Cork and the model identifier A3720. A second retailer copy can disagree later. If it does, both copies stay, with the host named. One host's PDF is enough to show that a rated capacity exists outside the spec page that omits it. Asked directly, What endurance and cycle lines does the sheet print? 51 hours 30 minutes per cycle, and at least 1,000 cycles under default settings. The battery is marked as not replaceable by the user.

Class A is an efficiency class, not a runtime

Energy class A sits on its own row. Endurance per cycle sits on another. A reader who treats A as a promise of the 24 hours on Apple's spec page is mixing two documents. The sheet's 51 hours 30 minutes is the label's endurance method. Apple's 24 hours is Apple's typical-use method. Neither number cancels the other. They were not measured the same way, and the pages do not claim they were.

What this page will not merge

It will not print 4,883 mAh as if Apple's spec page had said it. It will not print the two-cell split as if the O2 sheet had itemized it. It will not convert 51 hours 30 minutes into the video-playback hours. The preorder and the case are different disagreements, already filed. The battery disagreement is the sheet versus the spec page. Asked directly, What model identifier is on the sheet? A3720, brand Apple, device type smartphone, operating system iOS. The supplier address on the sheet is Apple Distribution International in Cork.the paper.

Repair links go to Apple's own service page

The sheet points spare-part, repair-instruction, and price links at Apple's self-service repair site. That is a pointer, not a price. The index of 2.65 out of 5 already includes a parts score and a tools score on the sheet's own rows. This brief will not restate those sub-scores as a how-to. The class C headline is the label's summary. A holder-keyed account is a different privacy question from a label field. Asked directly, What does the repair block say? Repair class C and an index of 2.65 out of 5. The sheet also lists a repeated free-fall class of B, at least 140 drops without a defect, and 35 drops without a defect when the phone is tested fully open.the key stays with the holder.

What would change the page

An Apple spec revision that prints 4,883 mAh, or a revised sheet that prints a different rated capacity for A3720. A photograph of two cells with those milliamp-hour marks would move the split out of the leak column. Until then the sheet has the total, the spec page has the hours, and MacRumors has the October 18 report. The short answer this page will stand on is this: An O2 product sheet for model A3720 lists 4,883 mAh. Apple's iPhone Duo spec page lists two lithium-ion batteries and hours of video, not milliamp-hours. MacRumors reported the sheet on October 18.
