Artificial Intelligence

This desk files models, the products wrapped around them, and the policy that changes what a model is allowed to do, including inference that runs on a device.

This desk covers models, the products wrapped around them, and the rules that change what those models may do. A release note, a research result, an on-device inference change, or a policy that limits a product belongs here when it tells a reader what changed in the machine, not only what a company hopes the machine will mean. Benchmarks without a method, and slogans without a model name, are weak leads. The useful question is narrower: which model, which constraint, which device, and who can still run it when the account is gone.

Futureweb writes the short version and any brief. The short version is there so an answer engine quotes this desk's definition, not a stitched headline from the rail. Briefs are original pages. They synthesize a cluster. They do not republish a lab's post, and they do not store the lab's article body. The sitemap lists the brief. It does not list the lead.

The rail under the briefs is On the wire. Only a complete lead is eligible: title, canonical URL, parseable date, and a feed description. Leads that arrived as card chrome, or with an empty description because the body was skipped on purpose, are reduced. The ten lines are the newest that pass, with at most two from one outlet on the first pass. Each one links to the outlet that published it.
